    Who: Taylor King
    What: Creative Marketing Assistant

Tell us a little bit about yourself and what you do at UO.
Currently, I work for the Urban Outfitters Creative Marketing team as a Creative Marketing Assistant. I started working for Home Office in July, but before that I was a sales associate at Store 003 in Philly. And before that I was an insurance Underwriter in San Francisco.

What’s your favorite thing about working for UO?
I love being surrounded by creative and authentic individuals. I’m inspired by the people I work with every day.

What are you looking forward to doing this fall?
I’m looking forward to wearing some BOMB boots and ribbed sweaters this fall. I’m tall and love adding a little extra height with some booties.

Think of your dream FALL VACA – where are you? What are you doing?
Hmmm, for my dream fall vacation, I’d rent a cabin in Tahoe, CA. I’d spend the entire vaca relaxing in the woods and doing bonfires by the lake.

Do you love pumpkin spice flavored things or do you hope the flavor dies forever? Are you into #PSL?
Absolutely not. I hope it dies forever. For me, fall is all about sweet potato pie and cider; lots of pie and cider!

Are so you so excited that Halloween candy is already out in the stores? Do you love Reese’s Pumpkins?
I’m honestly not into chocolate flavored Halloween candy. But I do love Sour Patch Kids, Sour Patch Watermelons, and Swedish Fish. Those are my go-to. My dentist probably hates me. For me, Halloween is an excuse to stock up on those types of candy.

Do you have any fall traditions that you have to do EVERY YEAR?
My fall tradition that I do every year would definitely be avoiding anything with the name “Pumpkin Spice.”

    Above (L-R): Lynn & Taylor

    Who: Lynn Kostelny
What: Senior Manager of Global Creative Marketing

Tell us a little bit about yourself and what you do at UO.
Hi! My name's Lynn and I’m the Senior Manager of Global Creative Marketing. I get to work with a super fun team that comes up with what we post across our social media and blog channels.

What’s your favorite thing about working for UO?
Being able to dream big and watch the ideas come to life. No day is the same, and it's so amazing to watch our customers respond to things the team has created, from the UO Pride Campaign, to fun IG Stories!

What are you looking forward to doing this fall?
    1. Halloween… duh
    2. Going to Hudson, NY the first weekend of October
    3. Everything else that has to do with fall, the BEST season

Think of your dream FALL VACA – where are you? What are you doing?
Hudson Valley!! Staying at this super cute hotel, where I'm going to do some hiking and eat some killer meals. Mostly looking forward to going to Wm Farmer & Sons for dinner and drinks.

Do you love pumpkin spice flavored things or do you hope the flavor dies forever? Are you into #PSL?
I love it, I’d bathe in it.

Do you have any fall traditions that you have to do EVERY YEAR?
Go on a ghost tour (Philly has so many good ones). Watch at least six scary movies throughout the month. Go to Lambertville, NJ on Halloween Night, because it is seriously Halloweentown IRL! There are amazing mansions decked out with over the top Halloween decorations, and the roads are closed down so cute kids in their costumes are everywhere and all of the restaurants have that “this might be haunted” vibe.

    Who: Derrick Austinson
    What: Social Media Manager

Tell us a little bit about yourself and what you do at UO.
Hey guys! I'm Derrick, grid master or also known one of the Social Media Managers here at UO focusing on Instagram. I've been working at home office for a little over a year now but have been with the company for almost 5yrs!

What’s your favorite thing about working for UO?
My favorite thing about working at UO is honestly the people. I love my team and all of the other teams that I get to work with whether it be with the stylists, flats photo team, home team and buyers. Also noting that everyone's sense of fashion is impeccable and it's constantly inspiring to evolve my own style.

What are you looking forward to doing this fall?
This fall I can NOT wait to dress in layers + no humidity!! I love layering pieces together with a flannel or lightweight jacket and finally being able to wear beanies!

Think of your dream FALL VACA – where are you? What are you doing?
    4. Hmmm, tough question because I'd honestly love to go some place a little warmer. Anywhere in the Southwest would be idea for me because there is little to no humidity and the temps are typically around 70s-80s during the winter months. How could it get any better than that!

Do you love pumpkin spice flavored things or do you hope the flavor dies forever? Are you into #PSL?
As a former Starbucks employee I will say I genuinely hate Pumpkin Spice everything. It's gross and don't understand why everyone has such a horrible palate tbh 🤷🏾‍♂️😘

Do you have any fall traditions that you have to do EVERY YEAR?
As previously stated, I don't like pumpkin spice anything which leads me to hate carving pumpkins as well. I love looking at them and seeing them all over people's porches and what not, but they aren't for me.

    Who: Mike Hogan
    What: Events Manager

Tell us a little bit about yourself and what you do at UO.
I am the Events Manager for Urban Outfitters and have worked for the brand for almost 4 years. On the day to day, I oversee all of the North America events that take place across our 200+ stores along with assisting in large brand and partner campaigns. We do everything from DIY denim events to “After Hours” concerts in our flagship NYC store for over 400 guests.

What’s your favorite thing about working for UO?
The excitement in knowing that there’s new opportunities and projects to work on almost on a weekly basis. I can go from working on internal processes and formulating strategies for my own team to getting thrown into a meeting where we’re building out a huge campaign with top tier talent. It’s so cool to be in a meeting conceptualizing this event idea that everyone in the room is scratching their heads over how we are going to execute and then a couple of months later you’re watching it all happen. Seeing customers' reactions to brand experiences my team and I work on is the best feeling.

What are you looking forward to doing this fall?
Visiting all of the sleepy Upstate NY + PA towns that are so haunted and cute and cozy. And warm, alcoholic beverages.

Think of your dream FALL VACA – where are you? What are you doing?
In a cabin at the bottom of a valley by a river with unlimited snacks and no one around for at least 100 miles.

Do you love pumpkin spice flavored things or do you hope the flavor dies forever? Are you into #PSL?
I love #PSL, leggings, Ugg boots, et al. that goes along with the stereotype.

Are you so excited that Halloween candy is already out in the stores? Do you love Reese’s Pumpkins?
All candy is good candy so I am not bothered by this in the slightest. I have Reese’s products in my freezer (they’re better frozen, I promise) at all times.

Do you have any fall traditions that you have to do EVERY YEAR?
Watching a horror movie a day for the month of October + listening to "Harvest Moon" 20 times a day.
