What's the story behind Foxhole LA?
Meet Jeff - Born and raised in the Mojave Desert, he joined the Army immediately after high school. He served a 4 year contract in Field Artillery with 1 tour in Iraq (2003). After the military Jeff has been all over the place. He had his own skateboard shop in Oklahoma, did marketing & team managment for skateboard & streetwear brands, has been "picking" everywhere he travels over the years, and even ran away and joined Ringling Brothers Barnum & Bailey Circus... yes people still do that this day and age! He likes to keep moving and fortunately for Foxhole, it keeps the shop always re-stocked and full of new stories! Jeff & Fox's first date was even at a swap meet so you can pretty much say they were supposed to meet and put their love of denim and finding fun junk together to create the Foxhole!

Meet Fox - A Los Angeles native fashion designer & a 4th generation retail entrepreneur. Miss Fox was raised in a home of rockers, hippies and vintage fashion so she was naturally born into being obsessed with denim. Fox has been designing for the last 10 years in New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Shanghai, and Paris. She has also been repairing, repurposing, and recycling denim for years for friends and family. In 2011 she met the man of her dreams and they put their talents & passions together to create the Foxhole!

What's your go – to jean cut? Brand? Wash?
Big Mac, Levis , Wrangler, Washington DeeCee- I like all fits and all washes because I am obsessed with ALL denim.

What are you favorite things about denim as a fabric?
The history, versatility and the fact that no matter who you are, what you're into, where you live everyone wears denim!

Do you have any stories about amazing denim discoveries?
We did an interview years back talking about our brand, Foxhole, and our obsession with denim. This lady from Portland, Tennessee (we didn't even know there was a Portland Tennessee) heard the interview about a year after it was released and got in contact with us. She said she was cleaning up this family owned land which had a church, farm, school and living quarters full of stuff. She found a bunch of denim in whisky barrels and wanted to know is we had a use for it. Whiskey and denim are our two favorite things, so we said yes! Wm The denim was workwear from the 50's and  authentic to all the hard work that was done on the property when it was still running, I cried when I opened the box of beauties!

    Do you wash your jeans?
    Yes.

The Canadian Tuxedo. Yes or no?
    All day everyday.

    Any alteration tips or tricks?
Make sure you get someone to alter your denim that loves denim.

What are your favorite denim moments in pop culture or history?
There are so many films with amazing denim. Justin and Britney really brought it to the red carpet though.

Lastly, what's the future look like for Foxhole?
    Bright and full of denim.
