• UO Happenings: Lil Yachty + Nautica Meet and Greet at Space Ninety 8

To celebrate the launch of the Nautica and Urban Outfitters collection, the face of the collection, rapper Lil Yachty, stopped by Space Ninety 8 in Brooklyn for a meet-and-greet with fans. Set to the sounds of DJ Oreo, it was a night of smiles, selfies and even signed laptops. If you weren't the first 100 in line or couldn't get to Brooklyn to join us, here's what went down.

Starting at 7 p.m., fans began lining up outside of Space Ninety 8 in Williamsburg to ensure a meet-and-greet with Lil Yachty and a signed copy of his debut mixtape Lil Boat on cassette.

Chicago-bred DJ Oreo supplied the soundtrack to the night, performing in the midst of the Nautica display in-store.

After a grand entrance down the staircase, Yachty took his place at the signing booth, accented with signature Nautica color blocked backdrops, and began greeting waiting fans, many of whom brought gear for Lil Boat to sign.

Some kept it super authentic and grabbed the musician's signature on their own Nautica gear.

Sometimes you can't pass up an opportunity for a selfie with one of your favorite artists.

A signature from a famous person ups the value of your phone, right?

    Laughing like old friends.

You couldn't resist the party vibes DJ Oreo was putting down (and neither could we!) and an impromptu dance party broke out.

There's no age requirement on fandom.

There's nothing quite like one-of-a-kind merch.

An extra good excuse to bring that laptop to class.

New York, that was fun! We hope you shared your selfies and snaps (and made your friends a little jealous). Don't miss the next meet and greet: follow @urbanoutfittersmusic on Instagram for all music events.
