• UO Happenings: Connor Franta Brings his Common Culture Launch to Austin's Space 24 Twenty

After Giving Tuesday's launch at Space 15 Twenty in Los Angeles, Connor Franta's mini-tour to celebrate the launch of the Common Culture + Urban Outfitters collection made its way over to Austin, Texas for the second stop on his trip that also includes New York's Herald Square on 12/7, and UO Mall of America on 12/9. Now online and in select stores (which you can find here) the five-product line includes a tee, crewneck, hoodie, and hats with all proceeds benefitting GLSEN, a nonprofit ensuring safe and affirming school environments for LGBTQ students. To show his appreciation, the collaboration's spearhead, Connor joined us at Space 24 Twenty in Austin for a meet-and-greet with fans. Re-live the excitement, hugs and cutest gifting moments here.

Well before the Austin shop opened on Friday, fans waited in line to pick up their Common Culture goods and for a chance to meet Connor that night. The first 200 were the lucky ones (who also received donuts while they waited in line!)

The rain didn't stop Connor's Texas friends from lining up hours ahead of the meet-and-greet to get first dibs on hugs and a Common Culture CD, signed by the man himself. Thankfully, they were well equipped with their new Common Culture sweatshirts and hats. And ponchos.

We asked every fan seconds before they were to meet Connor: What are you going to say to him? Needless to say, there were a lot of question marks.

Connor was a sweetheart, hugging over 200 of his closest fans and snapping just as many selfies.

He ended the night with a handful of really thoughtful gifts, as well. From portraits hand drawn by fans in line, to a really plush pillow that one fan stitched all through the night.

What we learned? Connor Franta fans are very talented! And Connor himself couldn't have been a more energetic and warm host.

The tour continues on December 7 in New York City and wraps up at the Mall of America in Minnesota. All details are here
