• Photo Diary: Inspired by Roses

We're doubling down on the roses this year, which means that on top of the dozens of roses our multitudes of secret admirers are sending us (here's hoping), we're also going to be dousing our bodies in the stuff thanks to these rose-laced beauty buys. We teamed up with Laurel Stavros of A Bubbly Life to help bring out their beauty.

The benefits of roses are in the dozens when it comes to beauty and skincare. Whether you're using rose oils to help de-puff your eyes or simply because you love the smell, there's a way to use roses and rose oil for almost every ailment. For example, Plantfolk Apothecary's Petal Mantra oil (seen above) is a blend of plant oils (rose and jasmine) that will help soothe and soften skin, either when applied directly to the skin or added to a warm bath.

If you're a sucker for the scent of roses, then the Rosebud Multi-Use Oil is the answer to all your rose-scented prayers. Formulated with apricot oils, almond oils, and Vitamin E, the resulting blend is then infused with the scent of rose, peony, and bergamot - a crazy good blend if you love floral scents. (The reviews for this one speak for themselves!) Since it's a multi-use, this can be used to soften and perfume hair, moisturize cuticles, and nourish any dry patches of skin. For someone who likes to have perfume and lotion on-the-go, the Petal Perfume Oil rollerball has a similar formula and is more portable than the dropper bottle.

Rose oil also helps refresh and replenish moisture, which makes a rose face mist a great investment as it can be used in the winter and summertime whenever you feel like your skin could use a quick boost. (And it also works as a great makeup setting spray!) For a deeper treatment, try a rose-infused facial mask like this one from Herbivore Botanicals.

Adding pure rose oil to a bath will also help create a calming aromatherapy experience that will soothe irritated skin. Keep up with it once a week and your skin will be glowing before you know it!
