Attention all zinesters! Museum of Modern Art in NYC is having an exhibition called Print Studio (4 West 54th St) right now. My fav thing to do there is to peruse the photo books from the Reanimation Library, make photocopies, and then go back into the images, manipulating them with an acetone transfer pen. There will be demos and workshops there and everything is totally free. It's open Wednesday through Monday from 11am-4pm and runs until March 9. -Maggie Lee
Greg Gallegos of the Natural Selection Studio uses woodturning and dyes to create these beautiful bowls. We love that although the colors are bright, they can all be found in nature. Just add these to the list of things we really want, thanks!
What's pastel pink, totally rad and has a giant unicorn head? The Dog Show store in Los Angeles! The candy-colored weirdo boutique currently stocks '90s sportswear but come summer the shop will be filled with cool swimwear. They also have a cat phone that meows instead of rings! Wowza! - Hazel
"The landscape in Vietnam has been beautiful, and the traffic has been terrifying and annoying. Misty mountains, rice fields, and water buffalo along with non-stop honking and oncoming buses entering your lane to pass out traffic in front of them. As a cyclist, you can’t take your eyes off the road without risking your life.
It seems that in Vietnam there’s one rule of the road: you always have the right of way. You have to be aggressive. People don’t use their brakes, they use their horns; they don’t slow down, they just make a lot of noise until someone moves. Cars, scooters, cyclists and pedestrians who are joining traffic don’t look to see what’s coming before they move in, they just move in and figure if they’re in the way, it’s someone else’s problem.
What I really like is how much the Vietnamese make use of limited space on a vehicle. Seeing a whole family (mom, dad, grandma and maybe a lil' one) on a scooter is so common that I’m not even taking photos of it. In the U.S., it’s pretty uncool for two guys to be on the same motorcycle, but in Vietnam, two or three guys on a scooter is very cool.
I’m surprised by how many people I’ve seen sitting on the rear rack of a bicycle. Sometimes they help pedal, or do all the pedaling while the other steers, or if it’s grandma, she just sits there and enjoys the show."-Eoin
You totally have my permission to freak out over the new MANIAMANIA collection. I'll be right alongside of you wondering when all these pieces will find their ways onto our hands (and arms and neck). X - Jen
The new film "Why Must I Fall In Love" from Le Petit Petit is giving us some serious fashion inspiration for the weekend. We're totally into the sheer maxi/hooded-poncho combo.
Artist Kaori Mitsushima knows a lot of cats, and has dedicated numerous zines, paintings and drawings to them. In the video "I Am A Cat," Kaori talks about her love for her feline friends and shows us some of her work. We relate to her on so many levels.
Geeze, anyone who reckoned Josh Goot was a flash in the pan needs to go and eat their pan. His collections just get better and better. I love the kimono styling and oversized shapes that these garments have going on. - Nadia
Harry and Harry of The Harrys are the creators of the second Crush video "10SNE1?". Find out what their favorite sandwiches are, who they're constantly crushing on, and why Erik is playing tennis all alone.
Introduce yourselves!
Our names are Harry. One of us is browner than the other; one of us has larger ears. We can both agree on liking sandwiches (in general) though one of us is a meatball hero kind of guy, the other a prosciutto, asiago and fig spread kind of guy.
How did The Harrys come together? We grew up together in the same building and had a lot of play dates. Now we make videos together.
What was the inspiration behind "10SNE1?", the Crush video you made for us?
We liked the idea of a guy playing tennis against himself because that’s how we feel everyday.
Tell us about Erik, the tennis player. We met Erik in Ohio but he now lives under the Long Island Expressway.
How about the grandma in the video? That’s Bernadette Coughlin, she’s a method actor who has been preparing for the role in our video for 85 years.
What's the craziest thing you've ever done to get the attention of a crush? We killed a homeless man and ate his heart. JK, we didn’t eat the heart.
Who are your crushes, past and present? Can we say Susan Sarandon for both?
Describe the perfect Valentine's Day date. It involves a sea bass and a smooth surface.
Give us your best pick-up line! Girl, I’ll make your tuna melt.
What will you be doing on Valentine's Day? One of us will be with his girlfriend, the other hopelessly alone.
The latest collection from Luv AJ has everyone in a fit because who doesn't want to adorn themselves with everything they make? The crystal cross necklace is my favorite right now but it's all so good. Wear it alone with a simple black tee and everyone will be staring at you all night. X - Jen
Postscript's Paula Bertolino makes really simple—and super affordable—party decorations. From rustic wood cake stands (mmm, cake!) to party banners, her creations are making us wish we had a party to plan.
The latest spring campaign for Aubin & Willis is absolutely beautiful. Featuring Irina Lazareanu, Alex James of the band Blur, cute cats and a whole lot of reading, this campaign really makes me want to be a proper (and adorably dressed) English bookworm! - Hazel
In honor of Valentine's Day (and our latest contest, The Crush) we've asked some of our employees to spill the beans on their crushes—past and present.

"My first crush was in the sixth grade. I was a boy-crazed tween whose interests were compiled of tasteful things such as boy-bands, chatting on AOL Instant Messager, The Spice Girls, and Barbies (which I secretly still played with). His name was Timmy he had blonde hair styled in a mushroom cut, he played every sport from soccer to baseball, and was super studious. Needless to say I was positively smitten with him.
I finally got up the nerve to ask him out (which back then meant absolutely nothing, because you still wouldn’t even talk in the hallway, or on the phone, or ever actually go “out” anywhere) in a note that I folded up into one of those weird triangle origami things. My best friend passed it to his best friend in between periods. I anxiously awaited the end of the day where my friend gave me his reply note, a brief explanation of “Yes” he’d be my boyfriend, in sloppy 6th grade cursive handwriting. It was official! (This still, meant absolutely nothing.)
After many, many, many weeks we spoke in person. He walked me to my bus after school and held my hand! I wrote about it in my Lisa Frank diary that night.
Many, many, many weeks after that I finally got up the nerve to kiss him at our daily bus-goodbye. This was my first kiss. I daydreamed about it for as long as I could remember. I couldn’t believe it was actually happening! We stood there in front of my bus and I closed my eyes and went in for my very first kiss. As this being my first kiss I had absolutely no inclination of how to aim for someone’s lips with my eyes already closed, so my first kiss was with his ear!
Yes, his ear. In front of my entire middle school bus.
It’s safe to say that it didn’t work out. And that my mom drove me to school for the next week."
Everything coming out of the mind of designer Ulyana Sergeenko is incredibly beautiful, elegant and graceful. It should be no surprise then that we're obsessing over these behind the scenes shots from backstage at her Spring/Summer 2012 collection. They look straight out of the '50s! We really love all of the accessories and the parted up-do, a summer hair trend we can't wait to try. (via Butter and Brass)
The ladies in the video for We Are Handsome's latest collection, The Romantic, are all lazing in the sun, drinking soda and looking impossibly pretty. But for some reason I still really like them and want to wear their stuff. This is clearly the sign of a good video, and great togs. - Nadia
