gallery show that celebrates

all things summer, sun and waves. Here, a look at the artists in the show.

Fashion photographer and surfer Jeffery Jones splits most of his time be-

tween New York and California. this exhibition includes seven of jones'

photographs and a killer custom surfboard shaped by

longboarder Tanner Prairie.

This Brooklyn girl's photography has taken her everywhere from deso-

late American deserts to Montauk's Ditch Plains and back again (she's

also on the faculty of the Center for Alternative Photography). Three of

her favorite pics, including this one of meador, are on display.

lighter's work captures the world of surfing not as a  sport,

but as a way of life. Lighter is a southern california local, who trains

his lens on the subcultures of music, surfing, skating and motorcycles,

and he also runs the blog Grass Is Greener.

dan monick is a photographer and the co-founder of independent music

publication LA RECORD,  and will also publish a book of his work later  this
