Sweet Danes

Hailing from Copenhagen, Henrik Olsen and Live Berg Olsen packed up their wardrobes and came to work
at Urban Outfitters for the summer. Once they arrived, we quickly fell in love with their mix of
Scandinavian brands and vintage finds. Here, a peek inside their suitcases.

Live's shoes: Moving to the other side of the world makes it difficult to bring all your shoes. I had to bring those I use the most, and that go with everything: Varnish sling backs, Varnish loafers, Plateau ballerinas, beige heels, and Plateau classics. All the shoes are from the shoe boutique I work at in Copenhagen.

Henrik's accessories: My everyday essentials. Inside my favorite bag from Chester Wallace, you'll find my phone, wallet, key string from COS, Casio watch from Urban Outfitters, sunglasses from Cheap Monday, iPod, reading glasses and my notebook.

Henrik's shoes: Couldn't bring my entire collection over here, but these are some of my all-time favorites and some new summer favorites I added to the collection: Vans, Acne denim shoes, grey leather dress shoes, my first vintage buy in Philadelphia, sailor shoes from Urban Outfitters, brown leather shoes bought at a thrift store in Williamsburg, retro Nikes and Converse.

Live: I'm wearing my favorite dress/sweater/blouse from the Swedish brand Weekday. I love that you can button it together so it becomes a jumpsuit. The shoes are from Vagabond.

Henrik: I'm wearing my Levi's vintage denim shirt which I mix and match with almost everything I have. Here, with a pocket t-shirt from Weekday, Chinos from DrDenim, socks from Happy socks and shoes from Pointer. The hat was my grandfathers and is from the '70s, and is definitely one of my favorite hats.

Live: Wearing my favorite leggings that I got really cheap at this Swedish high-street chain called Gina Tricot. They are bold black on one side, and sheer on the other. The shirt is a poncho with printed folds on it, from Monkii.

Henrik: From right, the shirts hanging up are a plaid shirt bought in my favorite second hand shop in Copenhagen, Kobenhavn K; my old worn out Acne jeans, which just get a better and better looking; zipper cardigan from Danish brand Wonhundred; Levi's orange tab denim shirt with a Weekday long sleeve T-shirt.

Live: These shorts must be my till-now best vintage finds of the summer. I love the bedazzling and the bold stripes. The black quilted miniskirt is from Weekday.

Henrik: Cheap Monday cut-off shorts.

Live: Wearing my favorite tee out of Henrik's closet, from the Paris,Texas store in Copenhagen. It is longer in the back, which gives the common grey T-shirt a little edge.

Live's accessories: My John Lennon/Yoko Ono shades; the girlfriend Casio watch (Henrik has the boyfriend one); bangles I covered up with pastel colored leather; a leather butterfly necklace from when I used to do a lot of them; vintage shell earrings; vintage YSL purse I got on my first trip to NY—I still don't know if it's real or fake. If someone knows, please tell me—chain necklace with my name sign.

Live: The black body stocking I got at the Urban Renewal outlet. The puff arms makes you feel like a Disney princess wearing it. The black dress from Minimum was one of the things I got after designing a stand at the Norwegian Fashion Fair. I love that it's oversized and has all these zipper pockets.

Henrik: Levi's denim jacket. I did a DIY experiment on my blue Levi's denim shirt, which was originally white. It had some stains on it, so I colored it to my favorite blue, and it turned out great.
