What do you do?
Jerry: I skateboard and take pictures.
April: I'm a merchandiser for Urban Outfitters and I have an online Etsy shop where I sell my thrifty finds.

How'd you guys meet?
Jerry: I went to Tokyo for a group art show, sponsored by Vice Japan. April was there for work, and at a party they threw, her boss made her talk to me because she spoke English. And now she is my girlfriend.
April: Well actually, Jerry was belligerently drunk and decided to stalk me the entire night. It worked; he won me over.

What was your first date?
Jerry: I thought there was never going to be a first date! At the party April gave me a wrong number (twice), which I later discovered was because she didn't know her own number, not because she was trying to avoid me. Luckily, her email was easy to remember and we met up. We had dinner at one of those places where they make the food right in front of you. Then we got really drunk and I missed my flight to London the next day (that Vice Japan paid for). So sorry for all the dishonor, Vice Japan.
April: they were so mad at me! To avoid sepuku, I had to exile myself back to the U.S. with Jerry.

What are the biggest things you have in common?
April: We enjoy anything involving food, we love the 80s, we're pack rats, and were avid thrifters.
Jerry: We both like fried foods, we both wake up Asian everyday, and we both think I'm funny.

What's the largest thing you co-own together?
Jerry: Our cat, Oprah. And she is LARGE!
April: Yeah, she's a moody fatso. I like to torture her with dress-up. I'm like Elmira from Tiny Toons.

What's your favorite restaurant?
April: Curry House
Jerry: Sizzler!!!

April, what's one thing you love that drives Jerry crazy, and vice-versa?
April: I love hogging the blankets.
Jerry: My BlackBerry. She hates it.

What's one of the funniest things that's ever happened to you together?
Jerry: We went to Mexico with friends last summer and April got drunk and lost her sandals in the ocean in about half an hour. It was pitch black and she was stumbling around crying (desperately) 'My sandals!' They were the only shoes she brought. I was on shore laughing.
April: Ah, the memories...

If you could both ditch your current lives and take off to do whatever you wanted, what would that be?
April: Food and wine critic/bunny farmer/marine biologist. Duh.
Jerry: Ice cream taste tester/ninja/fattest man in the world. Duh.
