UO: Why do you create things?
PL: I don't know. I guess it’s not a choice really. It’s what I am drawn to do. I’m either painting or styling or making jewelry. If I couldn’t do these things I don’t think I would be able to function normally. I make sculptures out of my dinner and drawings out of the dust on filthy cars. I am always making something. I like working with my hands. I am obsessed with aesthetics and fixated on creation. I love sharing my visions with other people.
UO: What are you wearing right now?
PL: This very second? A weird jumpsuit that I bought earlier today at Salvation Army on the two dollar rack.
UO: What are you doing for your summer vacation?
PL: Riding my bike around Brooklyn, going to Mexico and Spain, hopefully seeing some good bands play somewhere, working on jewelry. Playing the drums. Making a new series of paintings
