UO Live in Austin: The Internet Headline Closing Night at Space 24 Twenty Presented by VH1 Save The Music and Fujifilm
On Saturday night, we closed out our UO Live in Austin showcase with a bang. The Internet joined us at Space 24 Twenty to play their jazz-inflected RnB for a capacity crowd. As dusk turned to night with lead singer Syd serenaded us, It was an evening we won’t soon forget.
Fans began lining up around 8am for a chance to see the band up close and stretched around the block throughout the afternoon leading up tot he show. As the space filled up, The Internet fans took to the parking garage across the street to catch a glimpse of the group. As the band hit the stage, they played songs from their early albums and took turns playing new tunes from each of their respective solo projects, trading an infectious energy that had the crowd enraptured.
The Internet got ready for the show and waved hello to the fans gathering across the street.
The Internet's guitarist, Steve Lacy, played songs from his latest EP, Steve Lacy's Demo.
Bye, Austin. Thanks for hanging with us, see you next time!
