Can you introduce yourself and tell us a bit more about who you are + what you do
I'm Cleo! I'm just another internet girl who spends a lot of time at the beach. I document my life on social media for me to be able to reminisce on in the future when moments and times in my life are long gone and solely just memories. I'm going to community college, I'm majoring in political sciences and minoring in psychology and am hoping to become a criminal defense attorney.

    Location?
I live in the Bay Area in California, I spend most of my time in San Francisco and Santa Cruz.

    Age?
I'm a pee wee at 18. It's weird because I'm still so young but at the same time am considered a legal adult, so it's a real trip.

    Astrological sign?
Scorpio! Everyone has always been able to guess my astrological sign correctly and on the first try after knowing me a bit. Could be a good or bad thing.

Tell us one thing you’ve been extremely interested in lately (book, artist, TV show, etc.) There's this new book by Kathleen Gaslow, her debut novel I believe, titled Girl in Pieces that I have been absolutely fawning over for the past few months. It definitely hits home for people who have been suicidal, have ever self harmed, or had faced hazardous living situations due to parental neglect. It's a beautifully written piece about the self resilience and self reliance it takes for people to recover and/or find the reasons to live again.

    Who’s your fashion icon?
I've never really had a particular fashion icon, although growing up Avril Lavigne was my fashion muse lol.

Can you tell us the story about your favorite pair of jeans?
Yes, I had them when I was 13. I'd found them in a box in the garage while looking through storage out of pure curiosity, they were high waisted Levi's from the 90's- "Mom jeans", as people like to call them.

What's your best memory while wearing them?
Still at the age of 13, I remember one day I had had P.E. for my first period, if I recall correctly, the first semester of my freshman year at high school. I remember being late for school, and being a little goody-two-shoes started sprinting. I tried to hop a gate with a spiky edged top and it had caught onto the pocket of my jeans and ripped the fabric. Still, I continued, speed walking down the hallway with my ass exposed as the second bell rung. I still remember the breeze on my ass as if it were just yesterday.

    Light, medium, or dark wash?
I have no particularly preference, although it's convenient when you drop food on dark wash jeans and no visible stain appears.

What jeans did you wear in high school?
In high school I had discovered the art of thrifting, so thrifted second hand high waisted Levi's were the ideal.

If your jeans could talk, what would they say about you?
"Please tell her to stop sitting on wet grass, and please stop sitting on dirt. Tell her to stop acting as if every surface is a chair or a place for her to lay down because it's gross."

Where do you tend to find the best denim?
High waisted jeans used to be limited to just thrift shops, but mainstream stores have gotten with the times so pretty much anywhere.

If you’re an expert denim thrifter, any tips for finding the best jeans?
Try to go early in the morning before all the good stuff is snagged! Usually the thicker the fabric the better, and when sifting through them I usually just look at the denim labels and judge them on the brand to save time.

What current denim trend is your favorite?
MOM JEANS! They're so comfortable and versatile.

Would you rather be relegated to a life in bootcut jeans or a life in carpenter jeans? Honestly, I had to Google what "carpenter jeans" were, but probably carpenter jeans.

If your significant other wanted to wear a denim suit with you a la Britney and Justin, would you do it?
    You know it!!
