• Tips + Tricks: Go Gold Eye Tutorial

Remember: you can never go wrong with glitter. We rounded up a few of our most-used, all-gold eye makeup products and teamed up with model Ajani Russell to create a subtle summertime sheen that we're going to keep rocking, day or night.

To glam up your eyes, here are a few of our recommended gold-hued products to get you started:

    -Milk Makeup Eye Vinyl
-Stila Magnificent Metals Foil Finish Eye Shadow
-Nudestix Magnetic Eye Color Pencil in Gilt
    -Eyeko Black Magic Mascara
    -TONYMOLY Crystal Lovely Eyes
    -NYX Dream Catcher Palette
-Milk Makeup Eye Pigment in Peep Show
    -Nudestix Eye Pencil in Golden

For an all-over wash of color, use Nudestix pencils to cover the entire lid. They're easy to apply and easier to smudge. (Their consistency is creamy but not too creamy, meaning they won't crumble on you.) Plus, each Nudestix pencil comes in a cute tin with a sharpener and built-in mirror, making them easy to throw in a purse or backpack for the night.

If less subtle gold eyes are what you're interested in, then Stila's Magnificent Metals Foil Finish Eye Shadow is exactly what you're going to want to reach for. This eyeshadow comes in a small pot and included with it is a tiny tube of primer and mixing tray. To get an opaque gold look, swirl a drop of primer in the mixing tray with a dab of the eye shadow, and then apply to lids with an applicator (or your finger). The eye shadow dries to a powder, and, thanks to the primer, it stays all day. For a two-step eyeshadow, it's actually pretty simple to use and the color payoff is good. (And looks incredible when it catches the light.)

When it comes to eyeliner, there are plenty of gold options out there. If you're ready to break away from the normal brown or black eyeliner, Ardency Inn's Modster Smooth Ride Supercharged Eyeliner comes in a true gold color. Give yourself a gold cat-eye, or to really switch things up, try tightlining or lining your waterline in gold - it'll open up your eyes and give you a fun pop of unexpected color.

Another favorite product of ours for any eye look is Milk Makeup's Eye Vinyl. This product isn't for the faint of heart, but it's great for those looking for a dewy, shiny look. Eye Vinyl in Bridge comes out a soft peachy-gold color and can be applied directly to the eyelids with its applicator tip. Once on the eyes, this product stays creamy and slick and gives a soft sheen. Try a little bit at first to figure out how it wears. It's also fun to tap on over eyeshadow for an added sheen. Bonus: This looks fresh and dewy on cheekbones and temples as well.

Finish everything off with a swipe of Eyeko's Black Magic Mascara (it won't budge, even if you sleep in it), and you're ready to live your golden goddess fantasies.
