Movember
It's November 1st, and it's time to get hairy. Today marks the beginning of Movember, an annual month-long event raising funds and awareness for prostate cancer. The idea was born over some beers in Australia, when a group of men decided to bring back the mustache partly as a joke, and partly to raise money for the number one cancer affecting men. Just a few years later, Movember is a global movement which raised over $42 million for prostate cancer research last year alone!
The rules are simple: Register today at Movember.com, shave your face and start growing that 'stache. There are all sorts of tools to help you get started too, including a pocket guide, a free mustache party kit and a list of prizes to help get you motivated.
