Its New Years in Detroit! Are you going to stay home with your family or are you going to bring it in with hundreds of high spirited strangers? I'm the latter (sorry mom)!  If you want to dance your heart out check out Funk Night, which is an all out party with live funk bands. For a more rock 'n roll influenced night, check out Gardens at the Lager House. If you are into underground noise or experimental music check out the Bad Party at the Old Miami, and for an all around kind of night, see Marco Polio and the New Vaccines at the Magic Stick. I brought in the New Year at the Magic Stick last year and can confidently say it was the best New Years yet!  Don't kick off the new year with regrets (or a lame party). -Aren
