Cheap as Chips
permalink
True, the name is kind of misleading, because a €99.99 order of chips had better be the best fucking chips you have ever eaten in your entire life. But the concept behind Circus Store's Cheap as Chips is easy to appreciate: affordable art from the likes of Celestine Cooney, David Kitt, and Gavin Murphy all priced at €99.99 or less. Eat up—er, buy up!

If the overly-caffeinated design of Dublin’s Style Club is any indication, there is no danger of walking out of this salon with boring mom hair.

Atsushi Kaga

Japan-born artist Atsushi Kaga's main characters are a bunny, and a bear crippled in a car accident. They smoke, drink, drug it up and talk about sex, but throughout it all, they watch out for each other. Thus, rather than being cloying or overly kawaii, Kaga's characters are endearing and—in spite of the fact that they're talking animals—probably a lot like people you know.
