The highlight reels from the Vans World Cup of Surfing 2011 in Hawaii are giving us some serious sun envy. It's barely December and we already forget what warm weather feels like. We'll just have to sit here and daydream about sitting on that beach, watching these dudes catch some serious waves.
Garage Magazine and Dasha Zhukova have launched STOPS, a crowd-sourced street style site with some serious prizes. All you need to do is submit a picture, vote on your favorite outfits, and the looks with the most love will win some designer duds. So get on there and show us whatcha got!

FEAST is a public dinner where a small fee gets you some good food and the opportunity to vote on and fund artist projects, all presented while you eat. The next dinner will take place at the Festival of Ideas in NYC on May 7, 2011. Check in to find out how to submit your own art proposal.

Urban Space and Dekalb Market are throwing the "Not Just a Container" contest– a competition pitting creative business owners and artists against each other to come up with the most creative use for a shipping container. The winner will actually build his or her concept at Brooklyn's Dekalb Market with a $3,000 construction budget and operate it rent free for six months. Entries are judged on design, sustainability, community impact and entrepreneurship– read all the rules and enter here by April 9.
