There are two things that are making me look forward to the opening of the upcoming group exhibition "I've Plumbed The Depths of This Whole Zone" at Shudder Gallery (433 Columbia Street) in Vancouver this Thursday. Becky Brisco is an incredibly talented Vancouver based industrial designer whose line of objects and jewelry seem to be better described as artifacts. Her thoughtful collection is carefully crafted and heavily influenced by whimsical qualities of her childhood, history, antiques, and folklore.
