Sometimes when things break you don't feel like replacing parts or having a professional fix them, so you fix them yourself. There, I Fixed It details the crazy ways that people try to repair cars and furniture. Some work, some probably don't.
If you don't hear from us for the rest of the day, it's because this just blew our mind and we had to go stand in the parking lot for a while. (Via The Second Pass.)
Do you have a coworker who always asks you "What's the capitol of Minnesota? How long do you microwave a baked potato? What time is it in Sydney?" Or a brother who calls you long distance to ask the dollar to Euro exchange rate and is it hot in Norway right now?—when you have no fucking clue about any of those things? Send them here.

Earthships are sustainable dwellings constructed from recycled materials and in harmony with nature. The components of an Earthship are thermal/solar heating and cooling, food protection, solar and wind electricity, contained sewage treatment and water harvesting. Earthships are awesome, and a perfect world, we would all call a ship home. Maybe Obama can make that happen?

Starting in December, we're carrying "The Lovers" in our store (all proceeds go to the SAF), and kicking it all off this Thursday with a launch party hosted by Miss Pro-Nails herself, Kid Sister.
