The slogan for the Praktik Rambla is 'Less is Luxe," and so it's a beautiful hotel you can actually afford to stay in, instead of one of those places where you have to pool your money to split a martini at the bar.
Fashionistas, take up your arms: The latest must-have shoe comes courtesy of Surface 2 Air and is sold exclusively at Surface 2 Air Paris, Browns Focus London, and Gargyle NYC. We suspect there are going to be some elbows thrown over this one.

a five-day contemporary arts festival. Events within the event include
artist Mark Essen's roaming record exchange, an on-site creation of the

Burobeluga does some of the most amazing, whimsical, dreamy window design we've ever seen. How much do you want to just move in and live in their world?
I'm still deciding if this Vivienne Westwood for Melissa Bow Bootie looks straight out of a cartoon and would it also be OK for a 27-year-old to wear it? What do you wear with lilac pvc boots?! -Jen
Not Just A Label continues to blow our mind and introduce us to new out-of-this-world labels. For example: Eyola, a Victorian-inspired collection from fashion designer Ayole, who once worked for Alexander McQueen. This Anima Octave jacket would make a stunning Halloween outfit all on it's own. Haute stuff, for sure.
Every single thing that design duo Bless offers up is amazing madness. These lake bedsheets turn your bedroom into summer camp, and the video for their N 39 Heart Ringers is more modern dance/performance art than fashion presentation.
I'm a total fan of digital magazines and the fourth issue of Glossy Mag is out and has some great material, including interviews with the adorable Alexandra Spencer of 4th & Bleeker and Urban's own collaborator, Jane Aldrige. Read on! -Jen

Chapter One Gallery opens its doors with an inaugural show aptly titled Genesis. Exhibited is work from Stefan Marx, Michael Swaney, Samuel Francois, Mudwig, Erosie and Merjin Hos. Genesis closes at the end of the month, but up next is Our Ends, showcasing only London talent.
Sometimes the clouds open up and the disco-house gods answer all our prayers. Such is the case with Duck Sauce, a collaboration between A-Trak and Armand Van Helden. Check their first video, directed by Surface 2 Air, which channels a little bit of retro Patrick and Demi.
Licorice Allsorts taste chewy and look like wetsuits circa 1987. The British confection was invented in 1899 but looks oh-so current–– it's the candy that doubles as a decorative element. -Molly
