About a Girl: Nilea Alexander permalink
Our latest About A Girl is Nilea Alexander, an Atlanta, Georgia native who sewed her way through college and moved to New York two weeks after she graduated. In New York, Nilea has continued to indulge her love of fashion: She designs her own vintage-inspired collection, Underground Love Story, and runs Nilea P Flea, a booth at the Brooklyn Flea Market where she sells clothing and objects that she picks up on her travels around the city and around the world. Hopefully retro and hopelessly romantic, Nilea sums up her approach to fashion by saying “I live my life with my head jammed in the clouds and I create clothing for those who do, too.” Kudos to that.
